The WNBA is investigating recent allegations made by former Las Vegas Aces player Diorica Hamby.

In a recent social media post after being traded to the Los Angeles Sparks, Hamby claimed that the Aces "bullied,

manipulated and discriminated against" her because of her ongoing pregnancy with her second child.

The sports world took to social media to react to the allegations.

One fan wrote, "A business yes, but the humans who make the league should come first."

"Wow that's sad," said another.

"Damn. This is disappointing and hard to read.

I wish Diorica nothing but the best,

and I certainly hope Aces will address this and try to do much better," added another.

The Aces deflected questions about Hamby's allegations during Candace Parker's introductory press conference on Tuesday.

The league is also reportedly investigating claims that the Aces made

"under-the-table" payments to current players and free agents.
